Role and responsibilities

The main role of this position is to act as the communication hub for all bodies in the church. This includes receiving from and disseminating to several different parties, the majority of which is through digital channels. This role requires someone who can work independently and prioritize tasks in order of importance to the ongoing operation of the Church.

  • Management of Sunday service slide presentations
  • Administration and updating of church YouTube and social media pages
  • Creation and distribution of weekly e-newsletter to subscribers
  • Formatting and distribution of monthly magazine
  • Proper forwarding and response to church inquiries
  • Coordinating rental of church facilities
  • Data entry into church management software
  • Other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Knowledge and proficiency in writing and communication skills, specifically in a digital environment.
  • Time management and ability to prioritize tasks is essential
  • Self-lead learning

Preferred skills

  • Experience with social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and YouTube
