Responsibilities:
- Manually unload cases of product from containers and trailers with the assistance of powered belt conveyors and step stools
- Physically able to load and unload cases of beer, wine, spirits, and cider that weigh between 40lbs (18 kg if you prefer the metric system) and 60lbs (27 kg). Working at heights up to eight (8) stories and working in isolation
- Required to stand for lengthy periods of time with movement such as reaching, bending, twisting, and walking
- Select, assemble, and prepare pallet orders for customers
- Clean up accidental spills; we all pitch in to be safe
- Fill
out safety-related checklists, dock sheets and other required forms,
checking purchase orders and inputting small data points into a computer
or peripheral devices.
Requirements:
- We encourage students and people who can work a second job to apply
- You are required to complete a criminal record check that is paid for by the LCBO
- Ability to follow procedures and work independently with minimal supervision
- Fluent in English, as well be proficient in reading writing and basic arithmetic
- You will be provided with PPE (Eye protection, gloves, hearing protection, dust mask)
