Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 Per Year
- Manage and execute the marketing automation strategy across email, push, SMS, and in-app messaging.
- Drive and track revenue-based campaigns, using automation to support ticket sales, paid products, and partner activations.
- Ideate and implement growth strategies to acquire and retain fans through automated touchpoints.
- Collaborate with nine CFL clubs to share marketing automation best practices, align on fan engagement strategies, and cross-promote successful growth tactics across teams.
- Write basic SQL queries to explore and validate marketing and fan data within a cloud data warehouse (Snowflake), supporting segmentation, reporting, and campaign QA.
- Partner with product, engineering, and data teams to support the implementation and maintenance of marketing SDKs, event tracking, and webhook-based integrations.
- Assist in reviewing data schemas, events, and integrations to ensure accurate and reliable data flows into marketing platforms.
- Maintain and evolve marketing automation systems and integrations (CRM, CDP, etc.), ensuring data accuracy and functionality.
- Segment audiences and build personalized journeys that increase engagement and fan value.
- Lead A/B testing programs to optimize messaging, conversions, and campaign performance.
- Analyze and report on campaign performance and fan engagement KPIs, offering clear, actionable insights.
- Provide support to the broader digital team on ad hoc needs such as Google Analytics troubleshooting, landing page creation, and other MarTech related tasks
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in marketing automation across multiple channels (email, push, SMS, in-app)
- Hands on expertise with marketing automation tools (experience in Braze preferred)
- Strong knowledge of customer lifecycle, segmentation, and behaviour-based targeting
- Proven experience running campaigns that support revenue, ticketing, or sales outcomes.
- Working knowledge of SQL, with the ability to write basic queries to pull and validate data independently.
- Experience working with cloud-based data warehouses such as Snowflake, AWS, GCP, or Azure, including navigating tables and understanding event-level data.
- Experience setting up or supporting SDK implementations, webhooks, or similar data integrations is a strong asset.
- Comfort collaborating with technical teams on data collection, tracking, and integration requirements.
- Analytical mindset with experience using Excel, Tableau, and campaign reporting tools.
- HTML experience is a strong asset.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing techniques, including A/B testing, naming conventions, and campaign optimization
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to translate business needs into scalable, automated marketing solutions.

- Hybrid Model: The incumbent will be required to attend the office in accordance to the CFL Hybrid Work Policy and at least three (3) days per week. In addition, you are required to attend meetings and other business events at the office or other venues as business needs dictate.
- Work Schedule: Due to the nature of the business, the incumbent must be available and willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
- Travel: Some travel may be required.
- The expected compensation range for this position is $85,000 - $100,000, which includes base pay plus bonuses and variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position and should serve simply as a guide. The specific compensation offered may vary based on factors such as candidate experience, skills, budget, location, etc.
