RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Hand
pick items such as copper bearings, wire harnesses, rags, dirt, rubber,
foam, etc. place into separate containers
- Operate
and routine inspection of mobile equipment.
- Monitor
and report operating condition of production equipment, as required.
- Complete
and submit checklists or equipment care documents associated with assigned
task(s)
- Job
performed primarily in standing/static position
- Rotating
shiftwork
- Wearing
heavy clothing, as required and job appropriate PPE (Personal Protective
Equipment)
- Assist
in maintenance planned/unplanned tasks as required
- Assist
in tasks to support production efficiencies and up time
- Assist
with plant housekeeping efforts and perform other duties and work
assignments as required and directed.When operating mobile equipment
follow all prescribed safety guidelines
- Perform
daily checks to ensure equipment is maintained in proper working order.
- Working
at heights
- Working
in adverse weather conditions.
WHAT YOU HAVE:
- Ability
to work 8-hour rotating shifts between afternoons & nights
- Must
have a high school diploma/GED
- Must
be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
- Must
have good attendance and work ethic
- Must be physically able to perform in a labour intensive environment
