Description

  • Validate existing information and obtain new customer information such as name, address and email and enter information into computer
  • Describe products or services, in order to persuade potential customers to subscribe to magazine or purchase advertising space
  • Explain products or services and answer questions from customers
  • Develop customer focussed strategic and creative recommendations (sales proposals) across multiple platforms
  • Requires a significant amount of outbound calls in order to identify key players, qualify business opportunities and schedule discovery meetings
  • Develop highly targeted outbound email/drip campaigns to generate sales opportunities

Qualifications

  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in a related business or marketing field and / or equivalent business development or sales experience in both print and digital sales
  • 1 – 3 years of experience working in a similar role in a media company or publishing environment desired
