Responsibilities:
- Operate
lift equipment in a safe manner; forklifts, counterbalance; reach trucks
- Ship
and receive all shipments inbound and outbound, including proper
wrapping/protection techniques to prevent damage
- Prepare
paperwork for outbound shipments with accurate weights and dimensions
- Overseeing
the packaging and finishing of orders for timeliness, quality and shipment
completion
- Loading
of containers for international shipments and loading of LTLs for all
other shipments
- Unloading
of trucks and putting away of raw materials
- Report
shortages to Production Lead and Customer Service
- Assisting
with annual inventory and spot inventories as required.
- Assist
with boxing as required
- Ensure
equipment is operating as designed by daily inspections and reporting
maintenance items; adhere to safe operating standards for all equipment
- Adhere
to Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Overtime
as required to accommodate late trucks or client deadlines
- Must be able to lift 50-60lbs repetitively
