Position Overview

Linde is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Production Technician / Plant Operator to support daily plant operations. This role is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production equipment and systems

  • Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance tasks

  • Ensure safe handling and processing of industrial gases

  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

  • Record production data and complete operational documentation

  • Identify and report equipment issues or process deviations

  • Support plant start-ups, shutdowns, and changeovers

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

  • Work collaboratively with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams


Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical training an asset)

  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or plant operations preferred

  • Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence

  • Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, industrial environment

  • Ability to work shifts, including nights or weekends if required

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with industrial gases or chemical processes

  • Trade certification or technical diploma

  • Familiarity with control systems or automated equipment

  • Forklift or equipment operation experience
