Active Living Administrative Support

Job Duties Include
- ACTIVE net
administration support including, but not limited to: input of program
information and program maintenance.
- Assemble
and distribute instructor Class Lists and Attendance Sheets (seasonally).
- Maintain
participant statistics.
- Maintain
tracking system for fitness staff certifications and corporate training
requirements.
- Assist
with the creation and promotion of member initiatives.
- Communicates
relevant and accurate information in a timely manner; ensures stakeholders
are informed.
- Assist
in educating the public on issues related to active living programs and
services.
- Interacts
with the public on a regular basis, and promotes Town programs to
customers.
- Listens
to feedback from customers and responds in a professional and
knowledgeable manner.
Qualifications/Skills
- Completion
of Grade 12 High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum
two (2) years’ experience related to customer service and office
administration.
- Excellent
organization, time management and planning skills.
- Self-motivated,
positive, confident, and approachable.
- Ability
to work with minimal supervision.
- Respectful
of diverse opinions and perspectives.
- Proficient
computer and administration skills. Advanced Excel experience is an asset.
- Strong
interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
- Proven
ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple
priorities.
- Strong
oral and written communication skills.
- Valid
Standard First Aid & CPR C.
- Valid
Class ‘G’ Ontario Driver’s Licence.
- Able to provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Check that is current (completed in the last six months), upon being hired.
