What You’ll Do:
This isn’t your average behind-a-desk gig. You’ll be in the thick of the CNE action- grabbing content, posting on the fly, and growing our online presence. Responsibilities include:
Create and execute a dynamic social media strategy and content calendar covering all 18 days of the CNE
Manage and grow our main brand (@TheFestivalBeast) and 5 sub-brands (Bacon Nation, Mexican Street Food, Deep Fried Company, + 2 new) on Instagram and TikTok
Post 2–3 Reels and Tik Toks daily + regular Stories throughout the day
Capture high-quality content on site: food shots, team vibes, fan reactions, and behind-the-scenes magic
Grow our media bank for future content use
Run real-time coverage during CNE Media Day
Coordinate partnerships with food vloggers, influencers, and local content creators
Keep a finger on the pulse of trending audios, challenges, memes, and food trends

Who You Are:
A social media storyteller with a great eye for content
Comfortable working fast and flexibly in a high-energy event setting
Skilled with Instagram Reels, TikTok editing tools, and content planning apps (like Later or Planoly)
Experienced with short-form video, live social posting, and engaging community interaction
A people-person – you can hype up a crowd, capture the moment, and work collaboratively with vendors and team members
Bonus if you’ve worked at a festival, event, or pop-up before
Contract Details:
Timeline: July 25 – September 5, 2025
Availability: Full-time during the CNE (August 15–September 1)
On-site daily at the CNE grounds (downtown Toronto)
Stipend: Competitive flat rate, with perks (like unlimited festival eats)
