About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Broadcast Host / Master of Ceremonies (MC) to join our team. This multifaceted role requires a skilled communicator with a passion for live events, media, and public engagement. You'll be the voice and face of a variety of programming and events, ranging from community functions to television broadcasts.
Key Responsibilities

Host and lead various events including weddings, anniversaries, community gatherings, corporate functions, sports events, and school dances

Present original or prepared material with professionalism and energy

Select, introduce, and transition between music, video, and other entertainment content

Make commercial and public service announcements

Act as an on-air host or MC: introduce and interview guests, manage show flow, and ensure smooth delivery

Read and present news, sports, and weather segments on radio and television
-
Provide live or pre-recorded reports on weather conditions using forecast data
-
Deliver real-time traffic updates using information from external sources or firsthand observation

Represent the organization in various domains including music, arts, sports, international affairs, public service, and commercial advertising
Work Environment

Occasional travel for events or remote segments

High-pressure situations requiring adaptability and quick thinking
Required Qualifications

Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar broadcast or event hosting role

Valid Driver's Licence: Required for transportation and travel assignments
