Position Type: Contract – 8 Months (Potential for Extension)
Compensation: $26/hr to $36/hr


About the Role:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Coordinator to join our client’s team in Toronto, Ontario. In this hybrid position, you will play a key role in supporting the Human Resources function through day-to-day administration, systems management, and participation in HR projects and initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional looking to further develop their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS systems with a high level of accuracy.

  • Support the onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring all documentation and system requirements are completed.

  • Assist with the coordination of employee programs, internal communications, and engagement initiatives.

  • Prepare HR-related documentation including employment letters, reports, and presentations.

  • Provide support in benefits administration, leave tracking, and compliance requirements.

  • Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and programs.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors as needed on various HR projects.


Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in a corporate or mid-sized organization.

  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, or ADP).

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).


Nice to Have:

  • CHRP designation (or in progress)

  • Experience working in a hybrid work environment

  • Familiarity with employment legislation in Ontario
