Position Type: Contract – 8 Months (Potential for Extension)
Compensation: $26/hr to $36/hr
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Coordinator to join our client’s team in Toronto, Ontario. In this hybrid position, you will play a key role in supporting the Human Resources function through day-to-day administration, systems management, and participation in HR projects and initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional looking to further develop their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update employee records in HRIS systems with a high level of accuracy.

Support the onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring all documentation and system requirements are completed.

Assist with the coordination of employee programs, internal communications, and engagement initiatives.

Prepare HR-related documentation including employment letters, reports, and presentations.

Provide support in benefits administration, leave tracking, and compliance requirements.

Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and programs.

Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors as needed on various HR projects.
Qualifications:

Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

2+ years of HR experience, preferably in a corporate or mid-sized organization.

Strong knowledge of HR processes and familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, or ADP).

Excellent organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Nice to Have:

CHRP designation (or in progress)

Experience working in a hybrid work environment
