Truck Delivery Driver

Responsibilities
- Safely
operate trucks and other commercial vehicles to transport goods over
designated routes
- Conduct
pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
with regulations
- Load
and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securement of items
- Maintain
accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and delivery documentation
- Communicate
effectively with your regional manager who will be travelling with you at
all times.
- Adhere
to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during
operations
- Report
any mechanical issues or accidents immediately to management
- Assist
with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory checks and packaging
Qualifications
- Valid
commercial driver’s license (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle operated.
Class G and D are huge assets. We have different sized trucks but are
hoping to get the 26 footer on the road for deliveries this year.
- Proven
experience as a truck driver or similar role preferred
- Strong
knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices in
transportation
- Excellent
driving skills with a clean driving record
- Ability
to operate GPS systems and other navigation tools effectively
- Good
communication skills and ability to work independently under minimal
supervision
- Physical
ability to load/unload cargo and perform vehicle inspections
- Commitment to safety standards and punctuality in deliveries
