Duties
- Prepare, bake, and decorate
cakes and other baked goods with precision and creativity, including cake
decorating techniques
- Assist with food preparation
tasks such as mixing, assembling, and packaging baked items
- Maintain cleanliness and
organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards
- Handle food products safely,
including proper storage and handling procedures
- Support the team in restaurant
or bakery operations, ensuring timely service during busy periods
- Package baked goods securely
for retail or wholesale distribution
- Provide excellent customer
service by engaging with customers, answering questions about products,
and offering recommendations
- Follow recipes accurately and
adapt to special requests or dietary restrictions when needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food
handling, baking, or kitchen environments is preferred
- Knowledge of cake decorating
techniques and food presentation skills are highly desirable
- Strong understanding of food
safety regulations and proper hygiene practices
- Experience working in a
restaurant or bakery setting is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in
a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent customer service
skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Capable of standing for
extended periods and performing repetitive tasks with precision
- Food industry experience that demonstrates reliability and a passion for culinary arts
