DUTIES:

  • Identifies, researches and pursues client prospects to generate new business for St. John Ambulance
  • Meets with prospects regarding the potential sale of St. John Ambulance products and services
  • Builds and maintains key relationships with significant clients of St. John Ambulance
  • Assists in the development of sales and marketing materials and presentations to support sales
  • Understands and can clearly articulate all St. John Ambulance services, products to potential clients
  • Remains current with our competitors’ products and services as well as legislative changes and other business related aspects that may have an impact on the sales function and / or other related activities
  • Attend networking / sales events including but not limited to Chamber of Commerce, Trade shows
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Regional Manager

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma or equivalent work experience in a relevant area
  • Successful experience in sales, marketing and customer service
  • Knowledge of the Peel-Dufferin region community programs related to health and safety
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Computer literate with familiarity and ease with various computer applications, including Internet and E-mail and social media, CRM
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to travel within the Central East region as required.
