Responsibilities
- Moving,
placing, and loading/unloading staging furniture and décor
- Painting,
patchwork, and minor cosmetic repairs
- Hanging
artwork, mirrors, shelving, and light fixtures
- Assisting
with property cleanups, junk removal, and basic lawn/snow maintenance
- Furniture
assembly and light handyman tasks
- Cleaning
support before listings go live
- Organizing,
maintaining, and tracking staging inventory in our warehouse
- General
on-site support for listing preparation and turnovers
Qualifications
- Full
G license with clean driving record.
- Ability
to drive a van and tow a small trailer
- Comfortable
with hands-on, physical work including lifting, moving, and carrying items
up to 50 lbs
- Strong
work ethic and attention to detail
- Basic
handyman skills, including painting, patchwork, minor repairs, and
furniture assembly
- Experience
using common hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Ability
to follow instructions while also working independently and
problem-solving on site
- Reliable,
punctual, and able to manage time efficiently across multiple properties
- Experience in property maintenance, construction, staging, cleaning, moving, landscaping, or similar fields is an asset

Ted Arnts immigrated from Holland to Canada in 1954 as a young man with a strong entrepreneurial spirit. He started his own sod laying company with a friend in the late 1950s, and in 1964 he and his wife started a trucking company, hauling sand and gravel to construction sites in Durham. They eventually started selling many different landscaping materials at their yard in Pickering, forming Arnts: The Landscape Supplier in 1972.
