Key Responsibilities:

1. Social Media Content & Execution

  • Assist in planning monthly content calendars for four dealership brands.
  • Create and publish social posts, stories, and short-form videos using tools like Canva or Adobe Express.
  • Capture on-site content (photos, videos, reels) featuring vehicles, team members, customers, and community moments.
  • Write simple, engaging captions that reflect each brand’s tone and content pillars.
  • Ensure posts are published consistently across all active social platforms.
  • Monitor comments, messages, tags, and mentions; respond in a friendly, professional way within 24 hours.

2. Community Engagement

  • Interact with local businesses, community partners, and customer posts to help grow online presence.
  • Support dealership involvement in community events by capturing and sharing real-time content.
  • Build positive relationships with local partners who contribute to the dealership’s social presence.

3. Brand Standards & Collaboration

  • Use approved templates and follow Novus and OEM brand guidelines.
  • Share content ideas and stay connected with dealership teams to gather stories and updates.
  • Work closely with the Novus Marketing team for creative direction, support, and growth opportunities.

4. Insights & Weekly Highlights

  • Pull weekly performance insights (top posts, engagement, follower growth, trends).
  • Add these insights into a shared document for review with the Manager of Dealership Marketing.
  • Note ideas, learnings, and opportunities to help improve results over time.
  • Support monthly summary updates for dealership leadership teams.
  • This is light analysis intended to help you learn - no formal reporting experience required.

Performance Indicators:

  • Consistent posting that aligns with the content calendar.
  • Growing engagement on social platforms (likes, comments, shares, saves).
  • Friendly, timely responses to customer comments and messages.
  • Creative, high-quality content that reflects each dealership’s personality.
  • Active involvement in capturing dealership culture and community presence.

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in social media, marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Strong familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Comfortable capturing and editing photos and videos (phone-based editing is totally fine).
  • Basic design skills using Canva, Adobe Express, CapCut, or similar tools.
  • Enthusiastic, positive, and comfortable being “on the move” around the dealership to capture content.
  • Organized, eager to learn, and excited to grow a career in social media and digital marketing.
  • Experience contributing to business social accounts is a strong asset but not required.
