What You'll Do:
1. Team Leadership & Development
- Inspire,
coach, and develop a high-energy sales team in a supportive, goal-driven
environment.
- Set
clear performance expectations and hold team members accountable to
achieve targets.
- Provide
ongoing training focused on pre-owned product knowledge, sales techniques,
and customer interaction.
2. Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop
and implement effective sales plans to exceed monthly and annual targets
for pre-owned vehicles.
- Oversee
the pre-owned vehicle department with a focus on inventory control,
pricing strategies, and timely reconditioning.
3. Performance Analytics
- Monitor
and analyze KPIs such as lead conversion, gross profit, customer
satisfaction, and sales volumes.
- Use
performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for growth.
- Regularly
report on sales results and team performance to senior leadership.
4. Customer Experience
- Ensure
a smooth, customer-focused experience from first contact through to
vehicle delivery.
- Resolve
escalated customer concerns professionally, maintaining the dealership’s
high standards.
5. Inventory Management
- Work
closely with the team to manage vehicle inventory levels and maintain an
appealing, balanced selection.
- Optimize
inventory turn and pricing strategies to align with customer demand and
profitability goals.
6. Additional Duties
- Coordinate
with the service, finance, and marketing departments to support
dealership-wide goals and drive showroom traffic.
- Perform
additional duties as required to support the dealership’s success.
What You Bring:
- At
least 2 years of previous experience in an automotive sales leadership
role, Hyundai brand experience is preferred.
- Strong
knowledge of automotive operations, including inventory and pricing
strategy.
- Excellent
closing skills paired with a customer-centric approach.
- Proficiency
in tracking and leveraging sales metrics to drive team success.
- Strong
leadership, communication, and people-management skills.
- Must
have a valid Ontario Class G License
- Must
have a valid OMVIC License
- Familiarity
with PBS Systems Dealer Management Software is considered an asset.
Experience:
- automotive
sales leadership: 2 years (required)
- PBS
Systems: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Ontario
Class G Driver's License (required)
- OMVIC License (required)
