Job Overview
A premier entertainment and hospitality destination in Ottawa, Ontario is seeking a Supervisor – Wardrobe to oversee daily wardrobe operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring employees across the property are properly outfitted, presentation standards are met, and wardrobe operations run efficiently and professionally.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented supervisor with experience in hospitality, hotel, casino, or large-scale uniformed environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily wardrobe operations including uniform distribution, returns, fittings, and inventory tracking
- Lead, train, and schedule wardrobe staff to ensure consistent coverage and service levels
- Maintain accurate uniform inventory and manage stock levels
- Coordinate laundering, cleaning, and alteration services
- Ensure uniforms meet appearance, cleanliness, and brand standards
- Address employee wardrobe issues promptly and professionally
- Enforce grooming and presentation policies
- Support onboarding by issuing uniforms to new hires
- Maintain compliance with workplace health, safety, and operational policies
- Assist with ordering, budgeting, and cost-control initiatives
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience in wardrobe, laundry, hospitality, hotel, casino, or related operations
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
- Experience with inventory systems or tracking processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
