Role Level Expectations
Paraplanner Level 2
- Can
build and update complete plans with minimal supervision
- Comfortable
modeling core retirement scenarios and maintaining clean data
- Reliable
meeting prep and follow through, strong execution
- Conquest
exposure preferred, not required if you have strong planning software
experience and can ramp quickly
- Strong
intention to pursue CFP, or relevant planning education already in motion
- Registered
or eligible for registration with CIRO (IIROC)
Paraplanner Level 3
- Conquest
experience strongly preferred
- Can
build advisor ready plans and scenario packages independently
- Handles
more complex cases with guidance (corporate clients, trust and estate
considerations, tax complexity)
- Proactive
about improving workflows and reducing friction for advisors
- CFP
or CPA designation holder
Senior Financial Planner
- Conquest
power user, sets planning standards and quality control
- Leads
plan design for complex cases and consults with advisors on strategy
- Builds
templates, trains others, and improves planning systems firm wide
- The
internal go-to person for technical depth and scenario modeling
Required Qualifications
- 2
plus years of relevant experience in financial planning or paraplanning
- Strong
attention to detail, high professionalism, and comfort owning planning
workflows
- Reliable
execution, strong follow through, and clear written communication
- If applying at Paraplanner Level 3 or Senior Financial Planner, Conquest experience is required or at minimum, extensive familiarity with financial planning tools for easy transition to Conquest
