Duties
- Open
and close your assigned cafeteria location.
- Prepare
and assemble sandwiches, salads, and stock refrigerated coolers
- Set
up the hot table for service, ensuring food is properly held at safe
temperatures
- Receive
and store daily delivery of prepared meals, soups, and desserts in
accordance with Safe Food Handling standards.
- Serve
menu items to dine-in patrons and prepare take-out orders as needed
- Replenish
food items during peak hours and maintain serving station appearance
- Prioritize
and prepare schedule meals for the Adult Day Program (ADP), where
applicable
- Perform
cleaning tasks, including dishwashing, sanitizing kitchen equipment,
utensils and work areas.
- Maintain
cleanliness of counters, steam tables, and other equipment
- Use
cash register or POS system to prepare customer bills, accept payments,
and provide change.
- Balance
the cash register and POS receipts at the end of each shift.
- Return
the Daily sales to the iLove2cook main kitchen
- Follow
health and safety regulations to uphold sanitation standards
Qualifications
- Previous
experience in food service or hospitality is a must; training will be
provided for your specific location
- Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability
to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively
in a team environment
- Strong
time management skills and the ability to multitask during peak periods.
- Excellent
verbal and written communication skills in English
- Physical
ability to stand for extended periods of time and lifting up to 25lbs
- Friendly
attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Daily attendance is a MUST.
