Responsibilities
- Safely
operate a your vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
- Ensuring
proper handling and securing of items.
- Communicate
effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules
and any potential issues.
- Ensure
safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain
accurate records of deliveries, and delivery confirmations.
- Navigate
routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid
driver's license (DL) is required.
- Previous
experience as a route driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Excellent
communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team
members.
- Ability
to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks
associated with loading and unloading freight.
- A commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism on the job.
