REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- This position is supported by a government Youth Employment Program. To be eligible, candidates must meet the program’s criteria, including age requirements at the time of hire (Canadian citizen or permanent resident, under 30 years of age at the time of hire, and this position is intended to be the candidate’s first job in the field of their academic training).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field)
- Strong
understanding of systems engineering principles across hardware software
integrated systems
- Experience working with complex electromechanical or robotic systems
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Hands-on
mindset with experience supporting integration and testing activities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in defense, aerospace, robotics, or autonomous systems
- Familiarity with sensor fusion, tracking systems, or command-and-control architectures
- Experience with requirements management, interface control documents (ICDs), and verification plans
- Exposure to vehicle-mounted or ruggedized systems operating in harshenvironments
- Eligibility to work on Controlled Goods Program (CGP) projects or the ability to obtain clearance
