TJP Labs Inc. is seeking an experienced Packaging Supervisor to support and lead our food and beverage processing operations. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong organizational skills and a commitment to safety, productivity, and quality. This role is responsible for supervising packaging staff, coordinating schedules, maintaining workflow, and ensuring all packaging activities comply with company standards and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies

• Supervise, coordinate, schedule, and review the activities of packaging workers

• Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate activities with other departments

• Recommend personnel actions such as hiring, promotions, and performance improvement

• Recommend measures to improve productivity, efficiency, and product quality

• Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as required

• Prepare production and operational reports

Qualifications

• Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required

• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in a similar supervisory role in food or beverage processing

• Certifications:

  • WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) Certificate

  • HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) Certification

• Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be legally able to work in Canada

  • Only candidates within a 25 km radius of Pickering will be considered
