Restaurant Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Food Service Supervisor to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate is a motivated leader who can manage daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and support a fast-paced work environment. You will play a key role in maintaining food quality, compliance with safety standards, and smooth coordination of front- and back-of-house activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish work schedules and assign tasks to kitchen and food service staff

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of staff who prepare and portion food

• Train employees in job duties, food safety, sanitation, and workplace protocols

• Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation

• Hire and onboard food service staff as required

• Ensure food quality and service meet company and health standards

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and inventory projections

• Address and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner

• Maintain daily records of stock, repairs, sales, wastage, and staff performance

• Assist with food preparation and service when needed (hands-on role)

Qualifications

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the food service sector or supervisory role

• Safe Food Handling Certificate (required)
