Responsibilities
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and safety protocols
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any concerns
Operate the POS system efficiently, including cash handling and processing transactions accurately
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable
Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, placing orders as necessary
Adhere to all local health and safety regulations related to food service
Skills
Proficient in using POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for efficient order processing
Previous restaurant experience in a bartending or food service role is preferred
Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
