Responsibilities
Manage incoming customer inquiries via multi-line phone systems, ensuring professional phone etiquette at all times.
Utilize transportation management system to track shipments, manage orders, and resolve issues efficiently.
Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date records of freight movements and customer interactions.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding their orders, providing timely updates on shipping status and resolving any concerns.
Assist in coordinating logistics with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure seamless delivery of goods.
Maintain a high level of professionalism while handling customer complaints or inquiries, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Experience
Proven experience in customer service roles, preferably within the transportation or supply chain industries.
Familiarity with transportation management systems and data entry processes is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and colleagues.
Proficient typing skills for accurate data entry and documentation.
