Responsibilities:
- Supervise warehouse staff and daily activities
- Implement and enforce operational procedures
- Train new employees on warehouse processes
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock rotation
- Oversee order picking, packing, and shipping processes
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to optimize logistics
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain a safe working environment and follow MOL guidelines-
Skills and Competencies:
- Experience with HACCP and food safety programs
- Leadership skills to guide and motivate warehouse staff
- Ability to fabricate solutions for warehouse challenges
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members effectively
- Experience working in a unionized environment
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
