Responsibilities:

  • Must adhere to Miller Waste System safety protocols and must be familiar with occupational Health & Safety Act.
  • Actively participate in the launch and implementation of new business initiatives, programs, and services.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to provide telephone quotations for temporary business services.
  • Process customer transactions related to service modifications, billing issues, temporary orders, extra pick-ups, and accounts receivable (A/R) inquiries.
  • Accurately enter and update customer service changes into TRUX software for both Municipal and Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional (ICI) customers.
  • Work closely with the sales, operations, and administration teams to coordinate and complete customer requests.
  • Generating reports required by Director of Sales & Marketing
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Successful candidates should have a minimum of 6 months of administrative experience
  • Highly productive, team player with excellent written, oral and customer service skills
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Strong attention to detail

Miller Waste transports and receives solid waste at our Transfer Stations where we separate recyclables and other re-usable material from the solid waste stream. Transfer stations also function as drop-off depots where residents and businesses can deliver items that cannot be collected at the curb, including bulky items and household hazardous waste.
