Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepares
work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, customer work
orders, specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies,
tools, and materials.
- Read
and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures.
- Assembles
components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and
subassemblies.
- Ensure
all product is clean, wiped down before packing.
- Ensure
all parts, hardware and assembly instructions are included before packing.
- Responsible
for final inspection of product.
- Facilitate
work-order paper flow in accordance with ISO quality standards.
- Report
on issues, malfunctions or defective parts to Lead Hand and Manager.
- Maintains
safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules,
and regulations.
- Reports
any observed or potential hazards immediately.
- Wear
the proper PPE where required.
- Helps
with other functional areas as the need arises.
- Follow
Calstone Policies and Procedures.
- Adherence
to attendance policy (regular attendance)
- Train
co-workers as assigned.
- All
other duties as may be assigned
Qualifications
- Legally
eligible to work in Canada
- Excellent
hand-eye coordination and physical condition
- Ability
to lift, up to 50lbs
- Ability
to communicate with co-workers, and Managers.
- Ability
to perform computer functions as they pertain to the job.
- Manual
