Key Responsibilities

Monitor premises and maintain a strong security presence at all times

Conduct regular patrols and inspections of designated areas

Identify and address suspicious activity promptly and professionally

Enforce site rules, regulations, and safety policies

Control access to facilities and verify credentials of individuals entering

Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents with a clear, decisive approach

Document incidents and prepare accurate, detailed reports

Provide assistance to visitors, employees, and the public when needed
Qualifications

Valid Security Guard License for [Province/Territory]

Previous security experience is an asset but not required

Excellent observational and problem-solving skills

Strong verbal and written communication abilities

Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations

Physically fit and able to stand/walk for extended periods

Availability for flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
