Accounts Payable Administrator

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for timely and accurate posting of payable invoices for multiple entities in a paperless working environment

• Ensuring all required supporting documentation are in place prior to payable processing and escalate issues accordingly

• Management of the payable approval workflow system ensuring all unapproved payables are actioned by the project management team on a timely basis

• Follow up and respond to all queries both internally and externally in accordance to corporate guidelines in a timely and professional manner

• Monthly reconciliation of all vendor statement accounts

• Weekly/monthly submission of AP KPI reports

• Assist in month-end/year-end closing and working papers

• Perform ad-hoc tasks as required by the finance department

KEY ATTRIBUTES

• Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks, Sage, Workday, or Accounting education/background is an asset

• Two or more years of full cycle accounts payable experience

• Strong attention to detail

• Working experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

• Excellent communication and organization skills

• Ability to prioritize and consistently meet deadlines
