RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Regular janitorial duties and general property maintenance
Assistance with brewery/warehouse priorities, including sanitation and heavy cleaning, packaging and movement of raw materials, spent grains and finished goods
Providing assistance to licensed trades as necessary
Completion of ad hoc minor projects and tasks as directed
Contribution to large ongoing projects with quality, skilled efforts involving painting, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical repairs or general labour
Safe operation of hand tools, machinery, and material handling equipment
Shipping/Receiving
Participation in brewery events and tours as scheduled
Other project or warehouse responsibilities as may be assigned
MUST HAVES:
Good time management and organizational skills
Mechanical inclination
Effective written and verbal communications in English
A valid Ontario “G” Drivers License and clean driving record
PMA (Positive Mental Attitude), willingness to learn
Good problem-solving capabilities and ability to work as a team player
Tidy work habits and attention to detail
Able to undertake complex tasks with detailed specification
Ability to acquire essential job skills within 3 months of on-the-job training
Able to work a flexible schedule, as required by business needs and events
Good time management skills, able to time-box and meet targets
Accountability and reliability
Commitment to quality product with minimal defects and re-work
Compliance with SOP’s, best practices and safety procedures

Comfortable working in restrictive and damp environments, hot or cold
Able to safely work at heights

Ability to lift and carry loads of 50 to 150 lbs.
Ability to meet and maintain required levels of aseptic hygiene
Able to safely and effectively operate process machinery, hand and power tools
Satisfactory background check (criminal, credit)
English language fluency (verbal & written)
