Staff Accountant/Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for clients.
  • Reconcile accounts, track financial transactions, and ensure all records are up to date.
  • Develop and maintain custom reports to provide insights into financial performance, cash flow, and other key metrics.
  • Utilize Excel and other financial software to organize, analyze, and visualize data for reporting purposes.
  • Create, update, and automate complex Excel spreadsheets with advanced formulas, pivot tables, and macros for financial analysis.
  • Work closely with management to design custom reports tailored to clients' business needs, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Assist in developing business intelligence solutions and integrating data analysis into financial processes.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes with detailed financial reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with other teams to provide accurate and timely financial information for operational decisions.
  • Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and other bookkeeping duties as needed.Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience or a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, data visualization, etc.).
  • Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
  • Expertise in building custom financial reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
  • Solid understanding of financial data analysis, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Experience with data manipulation, analysis, and generating insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills to present findings and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
