Immediate Opening – Transportation Manager – Full Time

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY
Lead and inspire the transportation team to deliver high-quality, client-centered service
Provide leadership in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the agency’s transportation services
Oversee fleet development by identifying needs and collaborating with the Director of Community Support Services to maintain and expand fleet capacity
Supervise specialized transportation drivers, coordinators, support staff, and volunteer drivers
Compile and provide statistical information as required
Contribute to the advancement of data management systems and processes
Ensure effective financial oversight and service level management within the transportation department
Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards, transportation regulations, and organizational policies
Monitor and manage transportation budgets and expenditures to meet service and financial targets
Foster partnerships and participate in local or regional transportation planning efforts to support service integration
REQUIREMENTS:
Post-secondary degree in transportation planning, urban planning and/or business administration
Five years management experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education
Strong leadership and team-building skills
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and performance metrics
Experience working with volunteer-based services is an asset
Knowledge of transportation regulations, vehicle maintenance practices, and fleet oversight
Strong computer and data management skills
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities
Valid Class G driver’s license; ability to lift and assist clients as needed
