We are currently seeking a Junior Accountant to join our dynamic team at a reputable accounting firm. The successful candidate will assist in administering accounting systems and financial records for clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and integrity of financial information. This role is ideal for someone with 1 to 2 years of experience, strong attention to detail, and a passion for delivering client-focused service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems for various clients
- Analyze and interpret clients’ financial records and transactions
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and supporting documentation for individuals, departments, or companies
- Oversee payroll administration processes
- Analyze financial documents and ensure compliance with accounting regulations
- Maintain accurate financial records using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
- Establish, maintain, and balance general ledger accounts
- Supervise interns or junior support staff as needed
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- 1 year to less than 2 years of accounting experience
- Prior internship experience in an accounting setting is an asset
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Tally ERP, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Comfortable working with digital systems and cloud-based tools
Personal Suitability:
- Accurate and detail-oriented
- Strong client focus and professional demeanor
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask under tight deadlines
- Reliable and demonstrates due diligence in all accounting practices
Work Conditions:
