General Labourer - Midnight Shift

Primary Duties
Adhere to PPS' and Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) safety standards.
Adhere to PPS' company policies and procedures, along with Canadian employment standards.
Packing and loading automotive parts and tooling.
Arrive at work on time.
Pressure washing parts.
Stack & unstack materials.
General housekeeping of work area.
Additional Responsibilities
Manage inventory levels.
Work as a team player to ensure customer satisfaction.
Ability to follow directions as provided by supervisor.
Report all issues to the supervisor immediately.
Overhead Crane and Forklift Operation, as required once trained.
Demonstrate a considerate, friendly, and constructive attitude toward fellow employees and the customer.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent, is preferred.
Understanding of basic math calculations and strong attention to detail for inventory counts and order picking.
Able to work safely and efficiently.
Forklift license is a plus.
Organizational skills.
Professional oral and written interpersonal communications.
Training will be provided.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) as needed.
Ability to maintain a consistent workload that involves physical manual labor.
Ability to maintain alertness and fitness for duty.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to position oneself for work conducted in and around confined spaces.
Ability to wear as PPE as mandated.
Compensation
