Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including general
ledger entries, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial
statements and reports.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax
regulations.
- Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Prepare and file tax returns, including VAT/GST,
Payroll remittance, and other local tax requirements.
- Assist in financial audits and liaise with external
auditors or consultants.
- Coordinate with Bank, Insurance and leasing companies.
- Monitor expenses and suggest cost-saving strategies.
- Maintain fixed/lease asset records and update Lease
schedules.
- Support the owner with ad hoc financial analysis and
strategic input.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal
financial regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related
field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or
bookkeeping (preferably in a small business setting).
- Proficient in accounting software - QuickBooks and
Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and
analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple
tasks.
Preferred:
- Experience with cash flow management.
- Familiarity with small business operations or industry-specific knowledge.
