Salary: Neg Per Hour



Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, including VAT/GST, Payroll remittance, and other local tax requirements.
  • Assist in financial audits and liaise with external auditors or consultants.
  • Coordinate with Bank, Insurance and leasing companies.
  • Monitor expenses and suggest cost-saving strategies.
  • Maintain fixed/lease asset records and update Lease schedules.
  • Support the owner with ad hoc financial analysis and strategic input.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping (preferably in a small business setting).
  • Proficient in accounting software - QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.

Preferred:

  • Experience with cash flow management.
  • Familiarity with small business operations or industry-specific knowledge.
