Post Office Assistant - Term

Key Responsibilities:

Provide prompt, courteous, and efficient service to retail customers.

Process financial transactions, sales of postal products, and other services.

Maintain inventory and merchandising standards in accordance with corporate guidelines.

Ensure compliance with safety, security, and operational policies and procedures.

Support the achievement of store sales goals through up-selling and customer engagement.

Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner.
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Proven customer service experience, preferably in a retail or service-oriented role.

Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written).
-
Ability to lift and handle mail containers and packages weighing up to 50 lbs.

Comfortable using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications.
-
Flexible to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
Assets:
-
Previous experience with Canada Post or similar retail logistics environment.
-
Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset but not required.
